LANGUAGE POLICY

 

English shall be used as the medium of instruction for all grades. The following languages shall be offered as subjects: IsiXhosa, IsiZulu, Sepedi, Sesotho. Learners admitted to the school shall offer anyone of the above African languages in the first level. Both English and Afrikaans shall be offered in the second level.

 

The use of home languages (by both learners and educators) shall be permitted during the presentation of lessons and also during breaks, although it shall be emphasized that written exercises, tests and examinations be presented in the Language of the medium of instruction.
